Black Zenell was a hero, who was known to frequent Ankh-Morpork,[1] and was one of the Discworld's best known heroes.[2] Twoflower, a tourist from the Agatean Empire, expressed a desire to meet heroes when he visited the city. His guide, the Wizard Rincewind, told him that a man who had died in a bar fight in the Broken Drum was Black Zenell. However, this was a lie perpetrated by Rincewind, who was being paid a lot of gold to escort Twoflower around the city and show him the sights.[1]
